Over this past weekend, former U.S. papal nuncio Archbishop Carlo Vigano published a letter claiming that Pope Francis and other high-ranking officials in the Catholic Church had covered up, among other things, former cardinal Theodore McCarrick’s sexual abuse of seminarians and a homosexual “network” of clerics.
