I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT PARISHONERS AND LAY PEOPLE SHOULD CHOOSE THEIR PASTORS AND THEIR BISHOPS.. HOW OFTEN HAVE WE FOUND OURSELVES LOST WHEN WE LOSE A BELOVED LEADER ONLY TO BE REPLACED BY ONE THAT IS NOT IN CINC WITH HIS PEOPLE. IT IS DISCOURAGING AND OFTEN HEAR WRENCHING WHEN OUR PRIESTS DO NOT MIX WELL WITH THEIR COMMUNITY OF FAITH.
